Fantastic first day of Barista training with our two newest members of the Wanderer family, Aldryx and Luke. The guys absolutely killed it down at Toby’s Estate QLD HQ mastering all the elements of a good cup of coffee. Both at varying levels of experience they learnt skills in espresso extraction, grander adjustment, Milk texturing as well as service speed all under the tutelage of Ally from the Toby’s team.

Luke joins the Wanderer family after quite a long stint over in the UK where he managed bars and plied his trade as a drummer in the UK music scene. Aldryx on the other hand has been working in coffee locally in Brisbane for a number of years. Working for with brands like Mocopan, McDonald’s McCafe and is a regular at latte art competitions when he can find the time.

Very exciting to see both Luke and Aldryx taking their first steps on their Wanderer Coffee Journey. More updates to come.
